JD Car Trimming’s auto workshop is run by Paul Darby, a highly skilled and experienced custom car trimmer and a Master Saddler with over 38 years of experience. He has worked on a wide range of custom sports car trimming, classic car trimming, modified car trimming and prestige car trimming creating custom interiors for all models giving them a special bespoke look that is not only elegant but robust.
Using his great skill and perfection Paul worked as a Master saddler in Walsall West Midlands. He then moved to a Breed Automotive a well know company within the industry.
In addition to ‘run of the mill’ jobs on customers cars JD custom car trimming has many years working in Design and Development of trimming parts for Toyota, Honda, Nissan, MG, BMW, Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar and many other major automotive manufactures, this means we are able to offer Prototyping of custom car trimming seats, modification of auto custom trimmed interiors and Design feasibility service giving technical solutions to the fit and function of new components.
Along with our outstanding auto interior car trimming work we also look at creating hand sewn leather steering wheels,hand sewn leather gearboxes, leather hood repairs and rear upholstery.
